Private talks between Celtic, Rangers, community leaders, Glasgow City Council and Police Scotland have been taking place in the lead up to Scottish Premiership title celebrations in a bid to avoid "the kind of disorder, vandalism and violence that has been a persistent feature of gatherings at Trongate and George Square at the conclusion of recent football seasons".
