This year's Masters Tournament ended Sunday with a historic Grand Slam win for Rory McIlroy.
In the hours following his victory, a wide variety of celebrities from actors and singers to world leaders have taken to social media to praise the new green jacket holder. Here are some of their reactions:
"Grown Ups" and "Happy Gilmore" star Adam Sandler: "Way to go grand slammer! We all love you buddy! Love, Happy." Sandler also posted pictures of himself with McIlroy plus a picture of McIlroy holding a hockey stick, a nod to how Sandler's Happy Gilmore character started out as a hockey player.
"Zoolander" and "Night at the Museum" star Ben Stiller: "What an amazing finish - congrats to Rory McIlroy."

"Interstellar" and "Dallas Buyers Club" star Matthew McConaughey: "What a massive internal and external battle he fought all day, and came out with the w. His post-win walk said it all. Congrats to Rory. Wow."

Manchester United posted a picture of McIlroy at their home stadium with the caption "Warm congratulations to United fan Rory McIlroy on your triumph at the Masters."
Former Atlanta Brave Chipper Jones: "Had tears in my eyes watching you finally get the grand slam. You are an all timer....and thank you for allowing me to witness it. I’m about to be 53 and I’ve seen 2. Love watching greatness….Saw greatness today!"
