4 of next 5 games are on the road.

Level of competition is irrelevant, 4/5 on the road is a brutal stretch that could determine the season.

Worst case, 2-2, I see 3-1 with a Ramsey loss after back to back on the road. The next two are not really back to back with the bye and everyone up her thinks the Seahawks are done.

With the way we've looked in the last couple games, best case scenario in that run is prob 3-2 for me. If we want to win in Seattle or at St. Louis we're gonna have to play a hell of a lot better then we have lately.

Have we ever had 3 consecutive divisional road games before?

Schedule makers kind of did us a favor making us play both Green Bay & Cincy at home.

Hell, they did.

It's also going to be tough to come off a very physical matchup with STL to then play Minny 4 days later.

Yep,

Our schedule is about to get brutal which makes this Sunday an important game because we likely drop a few.

I really don't even know how to predict it because the reality is we could easily lose a lot of the games in the back half of the schedule. If we can somehow pull up an upset at the link then I think we take the division. But geeze that schedule gets ugly.

I guess it's about time to show if we are contenders or pretenders right there

People thought that last year at this time about Seattle too. Seattle/Arizona will come down to the end of the year.

Last year everyone was waiting for them to click, this year they look different. Through OL is terrible, Jimmy is turning into a locker room cancer and the defense has taken a big step back with the loss of Quinn.

Division road games: I don't see trouble, I see opportunity.

Let's see what this team is made of. Get this win @ Cleveland and then rest up and get prepared for the gauntlet.

Tough schedule for sure. This will determine what this team is made of.

If we keep making mistakes and shooting ourselves in the foot it will be even more difficult to win these games on the road.

Contenders or Pretenders?

Right now in my mind we are pretenders. No way we make a playoff run playing like we have the last few games. Loads of talent, too many mistakes.

It gets tough yes. THe other way to look at it is beat Cleveland get to the bye, fix some things and then beat Seattle in Seattle and you're set up.

7-2 would be sitting pretty. Seattle would have at least 5 losses. The Rams next 2 games are home against SF(win) and at Minnesota which could easily be a loss and give us 2 games on them.

The Rams have the easier schedule the rest of the way so the Cards really want to put a couple of games ahead of them and of course the game there could be huge.

Seattle is going to be a factor of course they're too talented not to be, but if the Cards can win the next 2 games they have a chance to really set themselves up nicely.

These Thursday night games are a threat to players health and careers. If they insist on having them, they should only be scheduled after a team's bye week.

not to mention the Cards just came off a 2 week roadie.
i think they beat Cleve, but it will be very close, beat SF, and beat Cincy. The other 2 are toss ups.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the schedule makers didn't have anything to do with this as the formulas are set years in advance. The only teams/games that aren't immediately known are the conference games against the teams who finished the same as you did in the divisions we don't directly play.

Hags have the same bye week Cards do, so no advantage there.

.

If we bring our A game we can beat anyone. Man for man this is the best team and group of coaches we have had in many years both on defense & offense. We do need a punter. I think e is last in the NFL& is. Slow off the mark.

My heart wants 5-0 but my head says 3-2 at best. I think we'll surprise a lot of people at SEA after our bye (Freeney getting his legs back, Bettcher finding some rhythm, etc.) but then a letdown at home against the Red headed flame thrower...

The Cards should certainly handle the Browns and SF even at their place. I doubt the Cards beat Seattle there. That means they must win one of the other 2. If they suck it up they can handle STL. The need to be ready to match the Rams' physicality. Do that and they win the game. The Cards have more talent on both sides of the ball and I think they can control the run since they should be ready for it.

Palmer hasn't seemed like a player who gets up for revenge. So Cincy will be a handful. Their best wins, but there's no guarantee they can bring it. Close game: likely the last possession wins! Going 3-2 is critical. Seahawks lose to the Steelers and Cards lose to the Pack. Thus setting up the last game of the season to be winner takes the West. Anything can happen, but the Cards should control their destiny.

Cleveland this week is HUGE. Short week, traveling east will make this game harder than it should be.

A loss in Cleveland with a Seattle win puts us going into their house with them having a chance to take first place. A situation we need to avoid. A win this week, keeps the game advantage, and gives Seattle just a little less motivation.

This week is the biggest game so far this year IMO.

ARI's pass rush vs. the Seattle offensive line is the very stoppable force vs. the quite moveable object.

Or a Monday night game the following week

we just played a team that has been walking on it's own Johnson all season....and we barely squeaked out an ugly win.

The coaching staff needs to step up or this road swing will kill the season..... 6-6 is not where we want to be heading into the stretch.
