Just finished a super fast 4 round mock with no trades allowed and only 10 minutes for each team's GM to pick. Here how it went down for the Cards:

1-7 – Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia
2-6 - Jonathan Cooper, OG, N Carolina
3-7 - Joseph Randle, RB, Oklahoma State
4-6 - Brian Schwenke, C, California

Jarvis Jones' medical condition really scares me. I don't know if I would pick him at 7.
If Cooper falls to the second then the Cards should rush that pick to the podium.

On ESPN, Bill Polian and Mortensen were saying the leading spine specialist at the combine was going to give him a favorable prognosis. It is a risk to take him though but I would take him.

I would be okay with that. I'd probably take someone other than Randle in round 3 but I don't who else was available.

Isn't Jarvis Jones the diagnosed spinal stenosis afflicted player who was dismissed from USC for medical reasons? No thanks.

I might take Michael in round 8 but no sooner. There's no denying his talent but when's the last time we had success with someone with this much baggage?

If we're going to take a chance on a RB in rd 4, I'd rather see lattimore

I'd rather not take a guy with his injury history but yeah, I'd prefer him over Christine. But personally, I think we need to stay away from damaged players in this draft.

I think Cooper has solidly moved up into the 1st round. I agree with WildBB that he looks like a top 20 pick. If he's there at 38 I want to see the cameras shaking because Keim is running up to hand in the pick.

Though there are circumstances where I might want someone else, like a QB/C/OLB. But I wouldn't mind if we took him even if we already took Warmack. I think we are in a good position to get two quality players in areas we really need.

I would love this.....

Jones is going to prove a ton on this board wrong.
Cooper is a great value in round 2.
The RB is unimpressive and might be a reach.
Schwenke would make my day in round 4. I think he goes in the third personally.

I would love to see another OLB taken with the third pick since Acho & Scho are horrible fits in our new version of the 3-4. They should only be in on 3rd down or passing situations IMO.

What a great draft, would be above and beyond my expectations. Address some serious needs for the Cards. Revamps Offensive line and Jarvis Jones is a franchise-type OLB (personally I think he goes before 7) who really gives our defense an outside pass rush.

The more I think about this upcoming draft, the more I want a PASS RUSHER! If Chance Warmack is taken before #7, we NEED to take an OLB. Passing up Damontre Moore, Jarvis Jones, or Dion Jordan for ERIC F****** FISHER??? Hmmm... remember the 2007 draft anyone? :bang:

Too high for Jones

Cooper will go top 20

Schwenke is a 2nd rounder
I like him as much as the next guy but I seriously doubt he's on of the top 63 guys selected. He's still likely the 3rd rated center behind Barrett Jones and Travis Frederick. Cooper even is getting looks at center. 3rd or 4th round is probably where Schwenke goes.
