Just a thought. I have seen some GB games where the broadcaster would display the speed of the football in MPH. I was thinking about game speed vs. 40 yard times. Unfortunatly I dont have much of a football library but it would be nice to see someone put together a list of 40 yard times vs game speed. There would be some issues finding "clean" runs in game (not having to avoid players, or wait for blocks), and then if he is to wide open is the guy really going all out. This line of thought got me to the idea of a Yps stat for the football, or whomever is carrying it. I think it would help in evaluating talent, especially if it was implemented in the same manner for both Football and College.

Good post. I've wondered the same thing for a long time.

Or, why are guys not timed in full football gear, starting in football poses, according to position played? WRs would in WR stances, then go. RBs the same. Etc...

I think then you have to worry about guys wearing lighter-than-normal pads and stuff like that.

We had a women's league and we were worried about them cheating like that so we made them all run naked. No way to cheat like that.

How does one go about joining this league?? If I wasn't allowed to play due to gender, I would be content with a role as the team ball boy.
