I intend to do Heroes and Goats and the previews every week. I'm trying to keep the word count down because I trust that everyone here is a TL;DR-type.

Maybe next week I'll pilot a "three key matchups" W2W4 column.

My favorite quote in the article is from Palmer, talking about some mechanical flaws he was able to work on due to his rehab:

"It will help my completion percentage, it will help with my accuracy and it will also help us as a unit, because I won’t be making my left tackle’s job as difficult,” Palmer told Vrentas. “In turn, I’ll be able to step into more throws. As I’m getting to my second and third and fourth read, I’m holding onto the ball a little bit longer and that pocket is getting slowly smaller, so it will give me more room to work with inside the pocket because I will be more centrally located.”

This guy is a total professional. It's not often you hear a QB, especially a 35-year-old vet, talking this way about working on his game.

It was funny hearing Wolfley go off about how he's never seen a pass defense use so many desperate and unsound tactics to try to disguise their coverage - trying to compensate for lack of talent. It worked against Teddy, but Ben made them pay dearly for it. It'll be interesting to see if they try to roll the same stuff out against Palmer.
