Matt Maiocco, of The Santa Rosa Press Democrat, reports the San Francisco 49ers signed free-agent WR Bryant Johnson (Cardinals) to a one-year deal worth $2 million Monday, March 17.

Probably didn't matter because he is looking at cashing out next offseason and wanted to get numbers. Not something i really want to deal with for a team trying to do everything to make the playoffs.

Agreed. Of all his options I felt Tampa Bay would have been the best fit.
