I want to go on the record as stating that letting Pace walk is a huge mistake. He is going to only get better the next couple of years.

Link is legit. 49er fans go to that guy for all FA moves. Also, the link i posted about Hackett is also legit. Just posting news on all NFC West teams. Rams aren't doing a damn thing. They are still worrying about letting go of Bruce.

Dude what is your problem? I am a 49er fan because I post news about NFC West teams for you guys in here? There are alot of 49er links because they are making the most moves. Other teams aren't doing anything.

Seeing as how the niners have been secretely working out deals with players illegally before the FA period, it wouldn't surprise me if they already have a contract in play. How can they afford 14 mill to Pace with their current payroll?

They have the best contract structures in the league with washington, if you break down the clements deal and look at the contract its not a bad deal. They dont spend as much as alot of people think. I wish RG could get on that niners level of makin contracts.
Of course they will. They could offer him 20 mil over 5 years with 14 of that guaranteed which equates to a little less than 3 mil per year. I'm sure the Cards would have no problem matching that.

Unless we knock em dead, Pace would be stupid to sign a deal before Friday. Man, free agency is so different than it was just a couple of years ago. If a guy is even half-assed decent they just make bank.
I hope everybody is welcome here until they wear it out and not a moment sooner.

I think the niners are going to get in trouble this year. They already have a formal complaint against them by the Bears for Tampering and have various other reports of tampering as well.
This is just another case. Teams are not allowed to talk about soon to be free agents before the free agent period starts. They are not allowed to have numbers leaked out, or say they will go after so and so. They are only allowed to say if they like a player or not, like Wiz was careful in doing when asked about Faneca.

Your joking right? 14 mil SB over 5 years with 2 mil base salaries is like 5 mil a year cap hit. I can't recall any injury problems with Pace (other than the freak window accident). If he puts up the numbers he did last year, he'd be a bargain.

By the very definition (undervalue) his value is lower than actual worth so why would team rush to sign him, not knowing his true value?
