Yep. That's the way I see it. Relax people. I was just as pissed as anyone, but this team is sloooooooowlllly improving. Take a break....think about it.... come back in a few hours and objectively review what happened today. Are there concerns? You bet your ass, but I think we are on the right track.

That being said, I hope you're right. Hell, I'll drink the bong water if you're right.

I'm telling you if it has an @ sign before it the W needs an asterik until this team proves otherwise that's highly suspect.

I know those two teams are about the worst teams in football if not the worst, like the 49ers the year we were their two wins.

vs. CHI L.....thsi one will be tough.
That means where 3-0 at home before this game. Throw out your stats, keep it simple, our house on Monday Night against the Bears! Cards will win this game. Cards play the Bears very well.
@Oak W
@GB W

So, 6-2 at break. Can be done.
Rams- Still have new coach syndrome
Atl- Odds are just to much agaisnt us
KC- Our house and by this time to banged up.
Bears - see above
Oak- they suck
GB- Double suck

Note...6-2 can happen and if it does they probably will be ugly and by small margins...but gaining winning attitude

I'm going to have to disagree with you. While I agree that GB sucks this year, the level of suckiness for Oakland this year appears to be off the charts.

I just hope this isn't "that year" like when we gave up 193 yards to then Jet Adrian Murrell at home and the Jets went on to 1-15, with their one win being in Arizona

:|

If Oakland beats us I'll hurt something

I think our toughest remaining games are

Chi
Atl
Seahawks

And I have no idea how at least the first two will go down

Don't overlook the game against Cutler and the Broncos, they should have sorted out their problems on offense by then and they have a lot of talent on defense.

And right now the 12-31 game at San Diego sure looks tough with their defense and run game.

We also play our next 4 games in domes, and we all know that Warner has a sick winning percentage when playing inside.

Plus, I have a really high percentage of getting sick while watching the Cardinals play.

Ah good point I hadn't thought of that but it's entirely possible.

Then we'll be playing Turner instead of LT. Phew. What a relief.

I still am not wowed by Chicago. They've beat up on two crappy teams.

I'm more concerned about Atlanta who is playing really well. Beating the Panthers in Carolina was impressive.

Just finished watching the game again. We gave this game away. Kurt didn't play very well and missed recievers, short, high and low. Yes he had pressure but when he got the ball off he was inconsistant. He threw at least three balls that should have been intercepted. The fumbles gave the Hawks field position most of the day and even with all these things happening the scored remained 14-3 deep into the third quarter.

Stupid penalties. Not only be Davis, Wells, and others caused motion. Edge satrted running better again in the second half and had a couple of nice runs for 10 plus yards. I think will take some lessons from this game and beat on the Rams this Sunday coming. And IMO when Seattle comes into our nest we will beat them.

Alameda and Lambeau are not going to be easy places to play for a team like us. We find ways to lose on the road.

I hope we split these though....certainly have the talent to. I hope 4-4 at the break.

How can you say we gave the game away?

If anything Seattle tried their best to give the game away but the Cardinals refused the gift.

Like how you snuck that Cutler and the Broncos in there Russ. Not gonna happen this year my man unless Plummer is injured! Broncos just starting slow seems like they do that every season!

I'd love to be 5-3 by the bye week means we will still be in the playoff hunt :) i'm nervous about this rams game though cause their going to be pumped for this game after losing to sf but I still think we will hang in their for a close victory.

With some of you, every bad play by us is all our fault and every bad play by the opposition is never due to good play by us.

Clearly my avatar is too small for you to see or you'd know that wasn't snuck in. :)

at least one Denver writer is already saying he thinks they changed the offense to fit Cutler in preparation for the switch.

FYI the avatar is Jake driving a car and looking into the mirror. It says objects in the mirror are closer than the appear, and of course in the mirror is Jay Cutler!
