I'd disagree with Gee slightly, she's not mannish, she's more Centaurish. The muscly legs of a thoroughbred and the upper body of a fairly normal (though overly muscular) human. But it doesn't explain the aardvark face, maybe she's a new mythical creature the Greeks were unaware of.
