I have the following home theater equipment for sale...

1. Toshiba 65" widescreen 1080i HDTV
6 years old, in excellent working condition. Just had it professionally calibrated a year ago. Model TW65H80. Two sets of component inputs, built-in speakers. Remote control and manual included. Asking $800 OBO
Buyer will be responsible for pickup. The tv is heavy, so a truck with lift is recommended.

Not really. That's how much they're selling for on craigslist and ebay. And I am listening to offers as I really need to sell this stuff, especially the tv as I just bought a brand new 73" DLP tv and don't need two of these sitting in my living room.

If people are paying that they are insane. Thats a projection TV right? Non HD? I saw a 60 inch projection TV with HD on sale about 6 months ago and it was brand new with warranty for only 999.00

I had a 60 inch mitsubishi that died on me completely right at 6 years. Just about a year ago and that was after I had it serviced. Big screen Projections just dont have the overall service life IMO. 800.00 is just to much IMO.

Sorry JMHO!

It's a rear-projection tv using cathode ray tubes, and it DOES 1080i HD. Just doesn't have the built-in HD tuner for over-the-air hd. Not necessary to have the HD tuner if you go with cable or satellite high-definition service. I've been using Cox high-definition cable with it the past couple years and HD-DVD since August. The picture still looks great. And it's been professionally calibrated for the best possible picture quality.

I think that you could have gotten $800 a year ago for it. These days, you can get a 50" HD TV for that. The biggest downfall for that TV is that it is probably over 200 lbs.

and it probably doesnt do 720p....which i would consider to be a big problem.
