Hopefully we can remain unbeaten in the New Year, for at least a few days. We need Dragic to shoot more when he drives to the basket, he looked like J Kidd at times the other night as he passed up layups to kick it out to our shooters on the wing.

Tucker is starting at SF again, pushing Dudley back to SG and Brown to the bench.

I guess Tucker in the starting lineup instead of Brown is a bigger plus than Dudley playing SG instead of SF is a negative.

It's a tough call but remember that when Dudley was stinking it up at the two he was playing next to Beasley. This arrangement should work better as it allows Brown to return to being the sparkplug off the bench. We're still going to suffer because of poor outside shooting but we were getting bad outside shooting with Brown in the starting lineup anyway.

There's a contingent of K State fans (in town for Fiesta Bowl) that are booing their cross state rival Kansas alum, Markieff Morris. So far it's working out well for us, can we import these guys more often?

When they cheer for Beasley it will be the last straw.

I think they just did, on the rebound. I wasn't paying attention earlier when Beasley made a nice pass to Jermaine who fumbled it away but they probably cheered then too.

Like clockwork, in comes Beasley, and down goes the lead.

We have a mole in our agency.

The second unit is not playing well as a whole.

It's discouraging the Suns do not have young talent worthy of watching. Markieff Morris is as close as it gets.

The stands are sparsely filled. The nothing is taking over.

At least the Suns are playing well to open the second half.

These 2 posts spell out why I was so against last years offseason plan. As soon the organization decided Nash was not a priority they should have blown everything up. Gortat, Dudley anyone with value should have been moved for youth, we should have been FAR more aggressive in last seasons draft in terms of trading up the board. And then fill the roster with cheap young players on short contracts, and no matter who we signed it should have been a short deal that kept the team flexible.

But a lot of people said "you do that and they wont be able to sell tickets". Well... this current roster is playing to a half empty building with sparser crowds each passing night. If you cant put out a quality team you MIGHT be able to sell tickets based on exciting youth. This team is neither. A bad, unathletic team that is basically devoid of young prospects.

They have a chance to change things up this summer (and this year as we can still move Gortat and Dudley) as we have a boat load of picks. But I dont trust this current regime to handle things. Especially Blanks... I pray he gets fired before they start making long term decisions.

11 point lead in the 4th quarter, much of it due to Scola. He's been arguably our best player over the past 3 or 4 games stretch.

Actually one could make an argument the Suns should have been blown up when they did not replace Amare.

This was the default position for Jerry Colangelo for many years... to put an exciting team on the court when the Suns did not have the means to win it all.

Unless the Suns bring in some staff that can properly evaluate talent they will continue to struggle no matter how many draft picks they have. The Suns have steadily gone down hill since the death of Scouting Director, Dick Percudani. If Blanks is the decider about talent, which I understand is his job as GM, he has failed.

Shannon Brown is a weak link at the moment. He has had some good shots. I wonder if the Suns believe they can win a close game.

We're getting some home cooking. Dragic knocked a Sixer out of bounds, our ball, Scola took about 11 steps then ran into a guys chest and somehow got to the foul line, Dragic just jumped into a guy and drew a foul.

Dragic makes a huge shot with 18 seconds left.

Nice shot by Dragic, that should seal it. 6 point lead, 18.8 seconds.

For the record, the Suns beat the 76ers 95-89.
