Last season was supposed to be the series finale, my wife actually made me sit through the final episode. I considered it an investment because it would be the last time I would ever have to see it. Turns out all 3 girls were pregnant with twins at the same time :barf:

Now they brought it back again?????? Is the CW that hard up for quality programming?

Did they all get pregnant by the same guy?? That might be interesting.

I was a fan of the show...watched every episode right up to the finale. Though asking the hubby to do so would have meant cashing in a favor I may need for something else, so points for that.

Since its "resurrection" I can't really seem to get into it. There is too much....I'm not sure what to call it but....oh yeah, crappy drama.

 Has any one in real life ever called someone who was the minister foster father of the guy who fathered their out-of-wedlock child about whether they should have a sexual relationship with a fellow student at the seminary? Belongs on daytime TV.

I' happy the bratty youngest daughter is living the life in Scotland, but the CW should have brough back Everwood instead.

I too would love to have Everwood back. That is a great show!

7th Heaven has always been one of my favorites. I'm glad they decided to bring the show back, but there is something lacking in the writing. I haven't been able to really get into this season even though I watch all the episodes. It's still good to have a wholesome show on tv though ... but something needs to happen!

I'm still waiting to find out that Aaron isn't really Martin's baby. I could be wrong though ...

I am still enjoying the show but you are right something is lacking in the writing a bit. The characters have turned flat. I always though Ruthy was a self centered brat but that's just one viewer's opinion and it obviously has not kept me from watching. The Christmas show was precious but again with the writing I didn't think they expanded on the theme as much as they could have.

I think that Aaron is Martin's baby and that the team they have producing now would never pull the "it's not his" card. It is too much of a limb for them to go out on, though it would be interesting.

The show's writing didn't get bad overnight. It's been in a steady decline the last few seasons.

Yeah, I never cared much for Ruthie either. Sometimes I felt sorry for her because she did seem to be left out of things, but on the other hand, she is always in everyone elses business.

You're right. I don't think the writers would ever pull the "it's not Martin's baby" card .... if they were going to, I think they would have already done it. The Christmas episode was my favorite show so far this season.

I can actually agree with that. To me it's been a little flat since Savannah was born. The season prior where it left us hanging on weather or not Lucy was pregnant ... now that was a great season. Been downhill ever since. However, I'm still watching. lol
