According to TV Guide, Lori Loughlin will play "the mom role" on The CW's upcoming "90210" update. She joins a cast that includes Dustin Milligan and AnnaLynne McCord.

The magazine says Rob Thomas' pilot script is currently undergoing a rewrite by "What About Brian's" Gabe Sachs and Jeff Judah.

Loughlin, 43, will play Celia Mills, an ex-Olympic athlete who relocates to Beverly Hills with her husband (BH High's new principal) and two children.

Shenae Grimes ("Degrassi: The Next Generation") will play Loughlin's daughter, Annie.

I'll check it out only because Rob Thomas is writing it.

Well, look for the apocalypse to go down, because this last piece of drek is probably the straw that broke the camel's back for the almighty. Look for God to smite the world because of this new entertainment atrocity ;)

WTF!! First the NKOTB and now 90210! I lived those years once and now all those damn chicks are 30 something (insert sundevilscott's wife here) and I get to see them get all excited about these things again. :bang:

Debut is tonight on CW. Rob Thomas is behind it, so it should be good.

Have it on the DVR. My wife put it on while Donald and I during our fantasy draft and then they both made fun of me for recording it in the first place.

So apparently, the two guys who did take over production are from F&G. I will give this show a few eps.

I admit that I watched this week for lack of anything else interesting. It did not hold my interest. Besides, I kept seeing the main "dad" as Kyle from Melrose Place. He's no dad ... he's a player!

I was a big fan of the original and this is crap. What made this show good back in the day is that you were suppose to relate to them cause they were out of place in a new city. In one episode they are already just like the people on the show and Im sorry but having the black adopted guy just killed it. I have no one to route for and no steve sanders. this sucks

Agree 100%. Not to mention that their high school somewhat resembled a real high school.

The high school on THIS show looks like the Google campus.

My wife said that a doctor in her "US Weekly" estimated that the female lead weighs approximately 90 pounds (no typo).

In the first episode, a teacher runs into the students in a bar and informs the bartender that the kids are "under-age".

No SH*T! They're suppose to be sixteen. How dumb can the bouncer be?

This show is absolute garbage. The only good is Jennie Garth looking hot as a guidance counselor. Imagine being a fifteen year old at that school.

I give this show an F-Minus.

It's a good thing you're not the audience, unless you are a woman ages 18-34. The show has won the night with them for 2 straight weeks.
