The man and woman who hold the world records for fastest marathon have something in common: They both compete in Nike Vaporfly shoes. Eliud Kipchoge, who broke the record at the 2018 Berlin marathon, donned a Vaporfly prototype for that race and again in October when he ran the first sub-2-hour marathon ever.
