A Holiday Omen............

Good morning Cardinals fans! Merry Christmas to all. I hope you believe in signs or omens as I got a big one this morning.
I woke up and made the morning coffee and as I put the dogs out for their morning business a little bird flew in the house..... Imagine my surprise to see it was a little red cardinal.....after much excitement he finally landed on top of my Christmas tree,...right on top of the star.... so there it is!!!

I too had an omen! Last night after he ate the snack we left him and put the presents under the tree, Santa left the living room TV tuned to FOX. (Who knew Santa was a conservative?) Anyway, when I turned on the TV this morning there was the jolly fat man himself on their morning program answering questions from viewers across America. (You would think he'd want to rest up after the trip.) Anyway, Santa was asked, "Who is going to win tonight's Cowboy's - Cardinals game?"

The fat man looked with astonishment at the host and said, "Santa always cheers for the team in red and white!" My goodness, you could hear the gasps of astonishment from throghout the studio. But St. Nick refused to back down and said, indeed, the Cowboys would be going down to defeat at the hands of the team from the desert.

That Anchor Steam we left Santa really seemed to do the trick.
