No. 2 seed Tennessee (28-7) will play No. 7 seed UCLA (23-10) Saturday in a second-round Midwest Region matchup in the 2025 NCAA Tournament.
Tipoff between the Vols and Bruins is slated for 9:40 p.m. EDT at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky. The contest will be televised by TNT.
UCLA has advanced to the Final Four 19 times and won 11 national championships in program history. UCLA's appearance in the 1980 Final Four was vacated.
John Wooden guided the Bruins to 10 national championships and 12 Final Four appearances as head coach. He served as UCLA's head coach from 1948-75. Wooden retired following the 1974-75 season with an overall head coaching record of 664-162.
UCLA recorded an 88-game win streak during his tenure. Wooden was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1973 as a coach. He was also inducted into the College Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006.
