A May television appearance
05/03/2007 10:29 AM

The Cardinals will make their first network appearance of the year on May. 14 as part of the NFL Network's tour of minicamps.

The Cardinals are going to be the subject of an episode of Inside Minicamp, which runs in May and June.

The one-hour show will be televised May 14 at 8 p.m. That will be at the end of the Cardinals three-day minicamp.

The hosts will be Derrin Horton and Rod Woodson. Some players and coaches will wear wireless microphones, the Network says. That's good, because wearing the kind with wires could cause some problems on the practice field.

The series starts Monday, featuring the Seahawks, and continues on May 13 with a show featuring the Rams.

So they will be filming the weekend of the "Fan-Fest" minicamp. My guess is that they will be filming practices other than the open practice during "Fan-Fest".

Jim O, what do you know?

I loved the HBO series and I'm glad to see it's continuing in a new way.
Hopefully they'll still be good productions and we'll get some real insight into the coaches and players.

the HBO series was the jaguars inside training camp right? That show was awesome. I wish they would do it every year.

"Luke, I'm your father."

"Fat guy in a little coat."

Love that show.

While I loved some of his movie stuff (his part as the bus driver in Billy Madison kills me), I still love his SNL characters. Particularly:

Chris Farley: You.. you.. you remember when you were with The Beatles?

Paul McCartney: Yeah, sure.

Chris Farley: That was awesome!

Paul McCartney: Yeah, it was.

Chris Farley: O-kay.. Oh! You.. you remember when you went to Japan.. and, uh, and at the airport they arrested you 'cause you had some pot, and.. it made all the papers, and everything..?

Paul McCartney: Well, to be honest, Chris, I'd kind of like to forget all of that.

Chris Farley: [ smacks himself ] IDIOT!! That's so stupid! What a dumb question!!

And of course:

Better, was when he "butchered" the line his father originally delivered (as you quoted)...

Hey, I'll tell you what. You can take a good look at a butcher's ass by sticking your head up there. But, wouldn't you rather to take his word for it?
