A Mighty Heart is a detailed account of the search for kidnapped Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl in 2002.
I am surprised this movie has no thread yet. This movie is based on a true story, but I think not everyone may remember exactly what happened, so I would abstain from reading any plot synopses beyond what I posted above. Chances are that by the time you finish watching, you will recall the news stories. Even if you know how it ends, the movie is still both riveting and shocking. I would compare it to United 93 in the way that the events are depicted, sometimes at a frantic pace. A strong performance from Angelina Jolie, easily her best, though I realize that doesn't say much.
