Laurence Dunmore (The Libertine) has signed on to direct A Million Little Pieces for Warner Bros. Pictures, says The Hollywood Reporter.
The story is described as a first-person nonfiction account of a man's recovery from a near-fatal addiction to drugs and desperate living.
The film is based on the book by James Frey, who also wrote the screenplay.
