A Notre Dame Opinion On Ole Miss Trying To Mess With Shea Patterson’s Transfer To Michigan

There’s a wrench being thrown into the transfer process of former Ole Miss Rebels quarterback, Shea Patterson. The former 5 star recruit, as you may know, has transferred to the Michigan Wolverines. Patterson and Michigan have filed an appeal to waive the rule that forces transfers to sit for a year before they become eligible with their new team. Patterson claims that he and other Rebel football players were lied to and misled about the possibility of sanctions with the NCAA after the Hugh Freeze incidents. Dennis Dodd is reporting that Ole Miss is formally objecting to the tyransfer. They aren’t blocking the transfer itself, but they are objecting to Patterson being able to be eligible to play
