Lee Mazzilli, Manager of the Orioles has a novel idea for the anticipated move of the Montreal Expos to Washington, D.C.

Orioles manager Lee Mazzilli offered an interesting solution to the team's concern about losing revenue if the Montreal Expos move to Washington.

"Switch leagues," he said Sunday, suggesting that Baltimore join the National League and that the Washington team move to the American League.

Washington has always been an American League city. During the time of the Senators, how many of you remember the cry, "Washington. First in peace. First in war. And last in the American League."
