That's not the worst part, you are now part of our lucky streak. I will stop by and steal your wifes coat on Friday and after we win break two more of your ribs. Way to take one for the team 82!

:D

Glad to hear you came out with such small injuries could have been much worse.

OK.. in all seriousness, if I knew cracking two more ribs might mean a win in the NFC Championship at UoP, as long as I have the vicodin on the ready, I just might consider it!!

well...... maybe not.....

Damn 82. I bet you feel like you played IN the damn game. Glad you're okay.

I played football in high school and never dealt with rib injuries, but know some who did... and of course, know that many college and NFL players often play with rib injuries... I just don't know how they do it...

Crazy story. I'm glad that you have the Cards win to help you heal as well. Let's hope they give you another one.

Damn, and I thought I was hammered on Saturday... :)

j/k, glad to hear it wasn't more serious and you are going to be ok.

As others have said, life is going to pretty much suck for the next couple weeks. I had bruised ribs back in HS and it was awful. It felt like I had gone about 12 rounds absorbing some brutal JC Chavez body blows. Cracked ribs probably feel even worse. I can remember constantly waking up in the middle of the night in agonizing pain. You are going to have to get used to sleeping very lightly and very gingerly.

Hang in there though. This playoff run is just getting started and we can't afford to put you on IR just yet! Feel better man!

Yea its me. Everything is good here, just been busy with an increased work load which I guess is a good thing nowadays but it has me posting on message boards a lot less. Zo is good too. He is just busy working and taking care of his kids. Fight nights and Cardinals games are still our only escape from the women. :D

We actually somehow scrounged up the $$ to go to De la Hoya-Pacquiao last month. (Manny baby!!) It was just a ridiculous amount of fun. One of the best times of my life. I'll shoot you a PM

Yesterday, out of the blue, Mulliwife asked "How is the guy with the broken ribs doing?"

This place is amazing... Of course, I've never had the pleasure of actually meeting Mr. Mulli, nor the Mrs for that matter. Yet, out of the blue she inquired about the "guy with the broken ribs"... As I've often said, I love this place and all it's bizzaroness!

Mulli, please inform Mrs. Mulli that "the broken ribs guy" is doing MUCH better knowing that I get to face my demon one more time this year! I get to go back to the scene of the crime and stare down that damm railing thanks to the Cards and Eagles!! You know, I've always been a believer of getting right back up on the horse that bucked you off. So, if I can muster the courage, I might even lean up against that damm railing and rid myself of the demons once and for all!! ;)

Actually, while the pain is not nearly as severe, I still can't sleep in any other manner than on my back (which I HATE as I am a stomach sleeper dude...).
Saturday night might have set me back a bit as the hugs and high-5's were way more than I should have enjoyed... I was at a neighbor's house for the game, and my buddy's wife gave me a bigtime hug when Fitz got the onsides kick. I normally wouldn't have objected to the hug (she is very cute and has an awesome chest that, well, when rubbed against my chest it just feels good...), but I screamed bloody murder as one of her arms reached around my side, and then she squeezed... OUCH!!!

Another neighbor suggested I call an attorney or at minimum, write a letter to the Cards... The only reason I might write the letter is to let them know that that damm railing is way too low and I will most likely not be the last guy to fall over it. I'm only 5'10" so I am certain there will be much taller guys who will find it even easier to fall over that damm railing...
Your an attorney - what say you?
