- A lot of cap flexibility, a lot of first round picks to get more cap room

- Sign whatever pieces you want in the offseason

- Trading Marbury will free the way for Amare to become a superstar while otherwise he might have been stuck behind Marbury.
Same could be said about Marion and Johnson.

- McDyess can give production and is a veteran and might be resigned for cheap, he should be a very good backup as long as he is not on the IR

- Lampe and Vujanic are wild cards

- Barbosa gets more playing time

- Our draft pick gets better, Kincks are not a playoff lock... Come on Ben Gordon, Emeka Okafor, Andre Iguodala, Luol Deng, Dwight Howard!!

- Finally got rid of Penny so he can cry in New York

- Suns were boring.

- Even without Marbury the Suns on paper look better than teams like Utah but are still so much worse than them.

I honestly think Barbosa can be solid for us. As soon as Amare & Zarko are back.

With all the great things Marbury does, I hated how much he had to dribble the clockout. And he wouldnt run & create fastbreaks for the team.

Barbosa will be just fine. He isnt as talented but I like how his game fits this team.

love the trade

I love this trade.

It gives us our future to improve in two years instead of one. Even if we don't sign the stud European point guard, it lets Barbosa play. We were not a winning team this year with all the talent, we needed to mix up the chemistry and I think Marion and Stoudemire are just so good together, that I didn't want to break up that chemistry. Chemistry I never saw between Marbury and Stoudemire.

I'm a happy Suns fan.
