Aaliyah Del Rosario is the latest LSU women's basketball player to enter the transfer portal, according to a report from 247Sports.
The former five-star recruit follows Sa'Myah Smith and Last-Tear Poa, both of whom announced their intentions to search for new schools in the days following the Tigers' Elite Eight loss to UCLA.
One of the top players in the 2023 cycle, Del Rosario spent two seasons under head coach Kim Mulkey. Despite her six-foot-six stature, the center didn't make a consistent impact in Baton Rouge, falling behind the likes of Sa'Myah Smith and Jersey Wolfenbarger as the frontcourt compliments to All-American Aneesah Morrow.
Del Rosario saw more consistent time during her rookie season, playing in every game and averaging 4.7 points and 3.5 rebounds per contest. She played in 28 contests this season but often saw sparing minutes early on as a late quarter sub or mop up time when LSU held a huge lead.
In her LSU career, Del Rosario appeared in 65 games and made one start.
