Im basing it on his 5 year 30 million dollar contract.

And chill out, 'hes shown nothing yet', yeah hes learning a new system. Hes literally retraining his brain to react in a different way. Be like forcing yourself to not blink if an objects coming at your face.

ITs taking longer than expected, but so be it. I doubt hed be the difference maker in the games weve lost so far anyways. Bradley is a great player. You just need to be patient. He is very valuable to us.

We'll see. The Cards have had plenty of high priced free agents that never played to what we expected. Al Johnson didn't even last a full season before he was replaced by an undrafted free agent.

Stewart Bradley might step in but he'll miss the tackle. From what I've seen so far if the Cards are counting on that guy as a long term fix at SILB we're in trouble.

Yep, the TD run by Jackson highlighted that as both Bradley and the backup DT from UCLA(blanking on name) both badly overran him on his cutback giving him the TD.

Bradley seems very stiff.

Which falls in line with a guy playing a new system. I'm hopeful by the end of the season he'll be the guy there.

Right now I'm wishing we drafter Navarro Bowman a couple years ago as many on this board were advocating.

My concern is that he's had 4 preseason games and now 3 regular season games and I just can't see that he's that good if he still hasn't figured it out. Surely he's not the first guy to go from a 4-3 to a 3-4 system.

That play had nothing to do with the system, Jackson was coming right into his area and it was essentially 1 on 1 and Jackson made a move and Bradley overran him.

I'm not overly surprised that an elusive QB can break the ankles of a 300 pound DT in the open field, but you don't expect a LB to look as bad as Bradley did on that one.

I'll give him time but so far he just looks very stiff, if he has to change direction to do anything he's dead in the water.

I think that when a guy like Curry has that kind of pedigree, we owe it to ourselves to check him out.

At the same time, we ought to proceed carefully (because other teams seldom give up on high-profile guys for no reason).

There has to be a back-story about Curry that needs ferretting out (i.e. a hidden injury, personal problems, wrong coach or bad relationship with a good coach, or "just isn't good enough").

As in all personnel considerations, it all boils down to: "Taking into consideration the young man's body of work, current and future ability, intangibles, potential fit within our system etc., will he help our football team more than another player we can bring in or someone on our roster we'd otherwise have to let go?"

In other words, don't get blinded by they hype - employ sound personnel-policy fundamentals like you would for any player.
