Aaron hill has agreed to a 3 year $35M extension.

I really like this extension I think it locks up half the middle of the infield for the next 4 seasons. Hopefully he continues to play how he did last year and this signing will be more than worth the money.

I felt good about that trade from the moment they did it. Understandably there was a chance that it wasn't going to work out, but I just had a good feeling about it.

Most IFs lose production starting in their 30's. If we are paying them for their best seasons expecting that to continue throughout the contract then we are overpaying.
