After three months of silence, Aaron Rodgers decided a week before the NFL Draft was the best time to break his silence. While some thought maybe he would announce where he was signing, instead, the former NFL MVP used his time on The Pat McAfee Show to do what he always does, waste time.

Rodgers went on and on about several random topics from Chevy Malibu's to complaining about people not apologizing to him over COVID-19 topics. Through all of that chaos, he did enlighten us on where things stand with him and the Vikings.

Rodgers spoke briefly about the team but said, "I'm open to anything and attached to nothing." He explained he has been friends with the Vikings coach Kevin O'Connell for 17-18 years now and considers him a good friend. He mentioned they talk to each other during the season and remain close still. He finished discussing his free agency, though, by saying he is dealing with some tough things in his personal life and feels, because of that, he "doesn't owe a timeline for a decision to anyone."

It seems there will not be a decision on his free agency before the NFL Draft next Thursday, so look for the Vikings to sign a veteran or draft a rookie to backup Brett Rypien and J.J. McCarthy in 2025.
