BA being BA and sending a message. My guess is that when reviewing the game tape some of the WR's ran routes that weren't precise enough or flat out wrong. We also saw some drops that shouldn't have happened. Then they follow that up with a lukewarm effort during Mondays practice.

At some point in the next week to ten days BA will once again praise several of the WR's.

great. I still don't get how we passed on solid WR option after option after option during FA and during cuts after FA... especially when none of them broke the bank and most signed one or two year deals (Maclin, Decker, etc, etc).

Depending on Brown's health, a super raw rookie, a guy coming back from ACL and Nelson (who's a solid 3 at best) when we had options and cap space remains a head scratcher for me.

We need to get John Brown and Chad Williams on the field, and I look at BA's comments as motivation to do so.

There is nothing scary about this WR group after Fitz. John Brown is always having trouble even getting on the field and after that who left in the group makes you quake in your boots? Right now Golden is probably the best WR after Fitz based on his pre season play so far.

This is the bed that BASK made for themselves. They are counting on JB's health or an impact from a rookie. The rest of the crop are going to be pretty much what they are at this point. Nothing out on the FA market at the moment that is an improvement anyways.

I feel like WR or CB has to be the 1st round pick next year.

If John Brown and J.J. Nelson continue to be injured or inconsistent, barring a trade for a veteran WR, look for BA to use David Johnson more than expected at WR. The passing game is too vital to BA's offensive philosophy and he will try to maximize its potential.

Remember on Sept 1st there are going to be 350 player cut. If BA is serious I'm sure a wr will be available if need be. That being said I'm not worried about our wr's at this point......yet.

Actually the TEs have been pretty productive. Maybe more 2 TE sets or splitting one of them out wide may be part of the answer.
