Adam Dunn must be re-signed

I don't know how many sabermaticians exist in Arizona, but Adam Dunn's numbers in AZ can't be ignored. His .417 OPS represents the best OPS since Luis Gonzalez's 57 HR year.

If you want a treat, look at how many D'backs have gotten even into the .400's in the history of the club. Tony Womack never did it, Stephen Drew has never came close, neither has any other player since Gonzo.

If you want to talk about value, look at what Dunn brings to the lineup.

Be careful with that wish, remember we don't have Rizzo running the draft, we really need to get on track with our scouting and willingness to bring in talent even if it means tough negotiating.

Last year we could have drafted some of the top HS talent but didn't take a chance on guys like Decker & Melville, might have missed out on some others but those two come to mind right away.
