One of the worst performance in pass protection that I have ever seen. Nearly got Rosen killed. Sadly, this is like Levi Brown year where the o line is in such dire straits that management is practically forced to go offensive tackle (although passing on Peterson was unacceptable) Perhaps a trade down can be arranged with some team who really needs a QB (Herbert) or D Line help.

Yea, I think the FO(Keim’s regime or not) will draft Jonah. I hate drafting OLineman super early, especially with talents like Oliver & Quinnen probably still being on the board, but I get it.

Lets just say, if Bosa(he definitely will), Quinnen, & Oliver are all off the board before we pick, I will 110% love the Jonah pick. He’s a lot better than Warmack & Andre Smith coming out. Ryan Kelly is another 1st round Bama OLineman that has been playing well for Indy & is part of the reason why Indy has a very good OLineman now.

Do not repeat the Levi brown mistake. Pickup proven linemen in free agency. Draft most talented player.

Sadly, the Levi Brown mistake was a repeat of the Leonard Davis mistake. But I don’t see a Tomlinson or Adrian Peterson in this draft. We need 3 or even 4 new starting offensive linemen on this team. And two receivers

Yes, I am wary of it. So a trade down for Greg Little might be smart. It’s a solid draft for linemen and we need SEVERAL

Bam. This. You read my mind. Take a look at Dallas and those top OL picks. WTH happened to them? Many thought they were going to the HOF.

I would take Alabama D players all day, but not that O.

And Iupati
Early in iupati was a prettt good player. But he was also what he was advertised to be, injury prone. We know about our busted free agents, sure. But there are a lot of success stories with teams signing a key FA lineman or two that pushed them to success.

How did that theory work out with Smith and Pugh?

Neither of them fit the proven mold... in a good way.

Smith was a proven FAILURE. He was a backup on the Bengals after losing his job.

Pugh was proven to be injured and playing on one of the worst offensive lines in football when we signed him.

Yeah I’d like to find the talented guy buried behind a superb offensive line or sign a free agent stud off a team that can’t afford to retain him. You know, invest some real money wisely to protect our young gunslinger.

They should replace the entire line but for obvious reasons we will start next season with humphries cole and pugh
Pugh will be back at his natural position
So they have to fill the right side

Its possible shipley would get his starting role back

Free agent tackle or guard
Draft couple of linemen first 4 rounds

I wish we can trade down few spots and get an additional second round pick

Greedy Williams.... period. This kid will.be an elite CB for a decade.

Hey, I hit it right on Kirk in the 2nd round last year. I am even more certain on Greedy Williams. He is so, so talented. If anything, more physically gifted.than PP21.

Not bullshitting. The kid us that good.

I read through the list and it felt like half the guys had played for us... I might have one or two in the list that didn't play for us and might be missing one or two that did... but, damn!

Don't fall prey to the "need" trap when drafting high - you'll likely pass on the chance to draft a possible super star. Stick with BPA approach - the problem isn't that BPA approach is wrong - it's that our talent-evaluation has been substandard.
