Agent: Cardinals current "favorite" for Colledge
Posted July 27, 2011 @ 7:52 p.m. ET
The agent for Packers UFA OLG Daryn Colledge told PFW Wednesday called the Arizona Cardinals are the current "favorite" to land the interior lineman.

From PFW....

Have a feeling this Oline is going to look vastly different this year and that's a good thing. They are making huge investment in Kolb, they better get pieces to protect him.

Alright. Enough with the positive threads. I am up to like 3 or 4 crows, and I don't want to have to eat another.

I don't even have Colledge on the radar when I would do breakdowns because he was one of those "The Cardinals wouldn't go after this guy".

Not bad. Not bad at all. Well, relatively. You still gotta deal with our OT's being our OT's but it still is promising.

Hope it turns out to be true.

I like Colledge.

That's how we spell it at OSU.

Nice. He could easily be blowing smoke to get a higher offer elsewhere. It is an agent, after all.

Well, we will see at 3pm.

Just enough time to find 5 crows.

Had a dynamite '08, rough start to '09 before turning it around. Last year was interesting, and could be described as not his best.
Much better in pass pro then as a run blocker.
That'd be a nice change up.

Lol go to bed and well wake you tomorrow.

Even good news is met with this cynicism. It's like some fans want to cheer for a bad team.

You're right, it's a confirmed signing. Start the parade.

I'm starting to think you're some kind of genius.

The Rams are also interested, according to their beat writer. I'm not a huge fan of this potential signing. Colledge fits better in a zone blocking scheme than a power blocking scheme.

Watched College a lot at Boise, he would be a good fit for the cards.

Agreed. Leonard Davis would seem to be a much better fit

If you read between the lines according to tweets from MJ and a GB beat writer sounds like Coolledge may be one of those announced tomorrow.

Concerning Cooledge, he seems like a guard that is a little lighter then what we all think a guard that Grimm would like would look like right. Could he finally be changing his style slightly towards more athletic guys to counter attack the DL that are getting smaller and more athletic?

LG is the pulling guard most often.....needs to have quick feet, and more speed than the RG....so a smaller, leaner player is more likely......
hmmmm, Grimm,.....pulling guard.......counter trey anyone?

I keep seeing tomorrow being mentioned by everyone but the signing day is Friday. Deals are still a day away from being announced.
