Superspck:
These are some of the scanned pages I took from the library book "footballs best offensive playbook" by dwight hawkins. I put this together to help you when the Offense AI comes online.
IMO the two biggest things we need to work on for the offense is establishing a base offense (such as illustrated below) w/ variations AND defensively stopping variations of the SI HB slam.
For example we should look into more passing plays with the strong I formation and also look into changing up blocking schemes/assignments to keep the run game effective.
My biggest fear as a DC is facing variations of the strong I slam.
In the main GLB forum somebody posted a test inwhich the HB's had crappy runs and fumblitus after the same play was used 7 times - I totally see a team simply tweaking something and running different variations of the same play without that penalty.
For the Maori - I like us to actually have three playbooks (Run, Balance, and Pass)inwhich based on our scouting we simply load up without screwing around with the percentages.
I think we can build our offensive AI with plays such as this - except with alternate formations established per playbook.
Does this make sense to you?
