There are agents for players and there are agents for coaches. I'm not sure who represents Green but there is a gentleman by the name of Bob LaMonte who is the numero uno in the latter category.

Among those coaches who are in his stable: Holmgren; Gruden; Reid; Sherman;Mora and Fox. Not too shabby a clientele.

In discussing the challenges coaches face, he says he has built his practice by representing "resurrection capable coaches". His definition of a resurrection coach is as follows:

A resurrection coach is a very unique animal......he looks for a franchise that is at the absolute rock bottom and focuses all his energy in rebuilding it in a very short period of time. The core competencies of this type of coach is part psychologist as well as an "X"'s and "O"'s ability to infuse breath into an organization that is on life support. This type of individual can only be successful within an organization that is committed to purging themselves of the demons of mediocrity........while the process is painful to watch from a distance and the cure is not immediate, the end result is a healthy patient that can start to win.

Sums it up pretty good uh guys?

Hey that's the Cardinals, now will the organization (and fans) let DG do what he was brought here to do?

Denny's going to get it done. I think its just a matter of time, and, maybe how many noses get bent out of shape in the process.

Despites Harry's recent lambasting of our ownership, I absolutely believe they are now committed to winning.

So will it take one year? looks unlikely at this point. Two years? Another good draft and free agency period in 2005 puts us over the top IMO.

IF the team still stinks after three years of Denny Green, and we can't even break 8-8 in our first year in the new stadium, I will be shocked and extremely disappointed. I'll about ready to serve Denny his walking papers.

but not before then!
