Looks like a 6-6 record will get coaches at big schools fired.

First Larry Coker @ Miami.
Now Mike Shula @ Alabama

Seems ironic that Alabama would fire Mike Price before he even started coaching there, only to replace him with Mike Shula who was their glamor pick.

Yeah, Coker did start out very well. I'm not sure what happened in the last few years, but he's far from a bad coach.

He's a horrible coach. He started out very well thanks in sole part to Butch Davis. Once his guys were gone, it was straight down hill. 12 losses in 3 seasons at Miami is a horrible job. And thats just performance issues, there are a whole lot of other issues with Cokers leadership abilities

I wouldn't want anything to with Coker at ASU. Just my opinion but he's no good at all

That might be a tough thing to say when the next coach wins with Coker's recruits next year and the following. His last 2 recruiting classes were excellent.

He lasted 6 years at Miami and that is the average, for Miami. I am not a Coker fan and never was, but Butch left them stranded by leaving 5 days after he publically committed to staying at Miami. That doesn't make him horrible.
