The Alabama Crimson Tide have landed a massive commitment to their 2026 recruiting class, as highly-touted cornerback prospect Jorden Edmonds announced that he was committing to the program Wednesday afternoon.

Edmonds, the Crimson Tide's fourth commit so far this cycle, announced a commitment to Alabama over additional finalists that included the Georgia Bulldogs, Oklahoma Sooners, and Tennessee Volunteers.

According to the 247Sports Composite recruiting rankings, Edmonds, a five-star prospect, ranks as the nation's No. 27 overall player in the class, as well as the No. 1 cornerback nationally. Edmonds is also considered as the No. 4 player in the state of Georgia where he attends Sprayberry High School.

Now the highest-rated prospect in Alabama's class, Edmonds is the first 2026 five-star to commit to the Crimson Tide, and joins a trio of four-star's in Zyan Gibson, Jamarion Matthews, and Chris Booker in the class overall. Of the Crimson Tide's four total commitments, three now come from the state of Georgia.
