He de-committed Monday, said UCLA, UCONN, Kentucky, Kansas were all on his list with Michigan.

Yesterday evening his mom came out and blasted his adviser, Tim Green. Said she's sick of Green trying to run his life, and "he will not play at UCONN or UCLA, we're very pleased with Michigan's patience."

So it's pretty clear the rumors that the mom wanted Michigan all along were true. So it's pretty unlikely he goes to UCLA although it's pretty clear he's interested, his mom clearly wants him at Michigan.

Beilein is a terrific coach, the one issue with him is that he plays a 1-3-1 zone which some kids would think would harm their NBA chances, since nBA teams want to see kids playing man. But if you can play you can play.

We'll see but it looks like Michigan will probably wind up with him afterall.

Now I remember why recruiting drives me nuts.

Sonny Vaccaro on radio 30 minutes ago said it's between UCLA and UK for Legion, he'll decide in 2 weeks.

Dave Telep on Scout.com says it's UK, UCONN, Kansas and Michigan, nobody else is involved now.

So is Sonny wrong(he was with Legion at the Roundball Classic when he announced UCLA might sign another kid), did Legion change his mind because of his mom, or is Telep wrong?

Or did Howland say enough already we're not interested anymore?

UCLA will get him and if by chance he does not become a Bruin, UCONN will be his backup.

Don't know, his mom is adamant he won't go to UCLA or UCONN. She basically accused his "advisor" of trying to make decisions for him. If you read the article his mom is doing precisely that, making decisions for him, but she IS his mom and the mom usually wins in recruiting.

We'll see, he can sure help UCLA.

Legion eliminated UCONN and Kansas so his final 3 in alphabetical order are Kentucky, Michigan and UCLA. Considering his mom has said he's not going to UCLA, and he said his mom is handling his recruitment, one would assume UK.
