Rumor out of Cleveland is that Mack has the Cardinals as his top spot & that the Cardinals are expressing interest in return.

Where are you seeing that?
Our headquarters are just outside Cleveland, so I talk with Brown's fans almost daily. Looking at 10 mill, 4 years. Looking at Cards, Broncos, Seahawks. He's a west coast guy. Wants to get closer to home.

This team is not sinking an extra $10+/- mil into the o-line this season. Simply not happening

Mack would be good ofc, but PFT reported that we seem set on Cooper being our C.

Of course they said, possible, but the links suggested it was the 'preferred' choice.

Sounds great!

I think he meant 10 mill over 4 years, which is peanuts, considering.

The guy who couldn't stay in the lineup and has never played at center? I'm glad you aren't in charge :)

Mack isn't taking $2.5 mil/season.

From ESPN:

Cleveland Browns center Alex Mack voided the three years remaining on his contract on Wednesday and is set to become a free agent.

Mack, who had $24 million left on his deal, can still return to Cleveland and could once again become the NFL's highest-paid center. Mack's agent, Tim Younger, said that Mack's return to Cleveland is a real option.

I bet he'd take $8 per to play fora super bowl contender. I would gladly pay that amount for the next 2 years then axe him if needed.

I got that from the first half of your post, not from your second. Because, you know, sarcasm always perfectly translates to the written medium, where tone and inflection are impossible to convey. Always, perfectly. Of course. Right?

Would love to have Mack in AZ and keep him away from the Seahawks, Rams or 49ers.

Took the thoughts straight from my head!
He wants to play for a winner, so obviously, he's not heading back to Cleveland. If the Cardinals aren't interested, he's heading to Seattle. That would be a nightmare for us.
