To be perfectly honest. I dont think even the C's know what they are gonna do. This deal was presented to them and refined till they couldnt say no IMO. Now they scrambling just like you for the free agents.:shock:

Hopefully they'll be smart and won't feel obligated to spend it if they don't land the top couple guys they're after.

Good point.

I'd rather hear a sensable 2-3 year plan, rather than jumping into bad deals this off season.

don't you think the Cs have learned since the googs fiasco.
but i must admit that googs was our topscorer in the lockout season

Besides Kobe, I haven't heard any big name possibilities, though I like the draft picks.

with tmac being somewhat disgruntled and able to opt out after NEXT year, maybe we could entice the magic into another trade of a superstar for some scrubs (jacobsen and jj = garrity, don't they?) and some of the first rounders we acquired.
