Next weekend is the one the Cards historically go out and lay an egg.

How many years in a row have we given the 0-fer team their first win, and usually in embarrassing fashion.

How many times have we fought to get back to .500 early in the season then gone out and been humiliated by a 20 point loss.

1 weekend does not make a team, need to string a couple wins together now. I believe we can do it - but I always have.

The rest of the nation will forget about the cards, dismiss them, quicker than they gave them props for the Pitt win, if we don't beat the rams.

I hope whis has them ready, no one else has done it.

Seriously... I have been going to all major sports sites and found nada, zip, nothing regarding Cards big upset. Really pissed me.

That is because it is viewed as Pittsburg's big stumble.

Ok, so at least it should have been covered as a Pitt big stumble??? But I'm really at a loss for lack of complete coverage.

I think that it falls into the "pecuiliar thing to be watched and not discussed" category.

Back to the topic while speaking to your point...

This is the game the Cardinals traditionally lay the egg. We SHOULD win this game. The same 'ol cardinals would lose this game in spectacular fashion.

It is interesting how many people are watching the Cardinals' performance in this upcoming game as a real measure of where this team is.

If the Cardinals show power on Offense and Defense in St. Louis, then I think you will hear a lot more about the Pitt upset, in context and discussion of the Cardinals' ability to win the division and / or their play-off furture.

We won't get any good press unless we head into the bye week at 5-2. And even then everyone will be talking about our "easy" schedule. The media isn't fair, and we will have to be good for several seasons in order to get the respect we deserve.
