And Amare, Duncan and KG are all listed as Forwards. I guess they are going to select Amare as backup center so they don't have to pick Brad Miller.

I will still vote for Yao, Amare, Garnett, Allen and Nash. I think right now Amare is more deserving to start than Duncan.

The East is a joke. Their forward spot is hilarious and Vince Carter is averaging only 15/4/4 or so on horrible shooting (hurts my fantasy team).

Likely Starters
Yao
Duncan
Garnett
Kobe
TMac

That's is set in stone. They could all tear their acl and still make it. The Rockets could be under .500 and they will still have 2 starters.

East

Shaq
Hill
Carter
James
Iverson

Maybe Wade is popular enough to beat out Iverson and Jermaine O'Neal to beat out Hill.

I cant remember, does the fans vote just the starters in and the coaches pick the rest. Anyway I am definetly going to vote Amare,Nash and Marion, and hope that Marion gets squeezed onto the team. If the team continues this way we could possible have three all-stars. We might see alot of voting coming from Japan with all of the Tabuse noise.

I feel really stupid asking this, but who is Richardson?

I voted but I left Marion off. I think he deserves a bid but I think Kirilenko deserves to start with the way he and the Jazz are playing.
I am a homer but two Suns starting is probably enough.
Sorry Shawn.

:shame:

West
Nash
Allen
Kirilenko
Stoudemire
Yao

East
Wade
James
Jefferson
J. O'Neal
S. O'Neal

Richard Jefferson I believe. Or how about George Jefferson? :p

I do think it's a little early to be voting. But at least we're guaranteed to not see Steve Francis starting in the West backcourt again.

Since everyone agrees that the voting procedure is completely bogus and stupid, why in the world should we care who wins?

I'd much rather see Suns players make the All-Star team as reserves, rather than starters -- at least there's some honor in that.

I think Nash is a lock. Cassel is not having an impressive year (40% shooting and only 5.3 apg), so the only real contest is likely to be with Bibby (18.2 ppg and 48.2% but only 5.9 apg). As a two time all star, I think Nash will get most of the votes and he is having an unbelievable year.

It's true the voting procedure is BS... However, I would like to give my picked players at least a fighting chance to make it.

Nash won't get many votes going up against Kobe, TMac and Allen on the ballot and Ginobili is surprisingly popular as well.

With Nash leading the league in assists, the next pg is a distant 2nd. Steve should definitely be a lock without question.
