Amare is an idiot. I like him as a player, but the dude is plain stupid.

Edit: I thought this was a second twitter message about Amare going to the Lakers. I wasn't aware this was the same one from last week.

There is ZERO chance the Suns trade Amare to the Lakers. However, I am not sure Amare's agent is happy with this statement right now from Amare.

How the hell is saying your "willing to take less money for a title" help you in negotiations when your asking for a max contract with the Suns? Also, I would say (if your a team trading for Amare and asking for an extension), "Amare we are building a team around you and we know your willing to take less money for a shot at a title."

Amare's agent has to be pissed off right now.

^ I think it has more to do with showing his disgust for the suns. Saying he'd welcome playing for less money with their biggest rivals. I don't think he's being serious, he's just raising hell for the Suns organization

Ha, it'd be awesome if that came up in negotiations. Something tells me it won't.

Yeah and this is the IDIOT some here want to build around......NO THANKS!!

I say we build around a 35 year old point guard with health issues. Sign him to a lifetime contract instead.

Has anyone confirmed that that is really Stoudemire's Twitter feed?

Yeah, seems to be. The official Suns twitter account follows that Amare account.

If Kerr is truly shopping Amare hard without keeping him in the loop I could see why Amare would be acting out. Seeing Amare spell college as "colloge" after referring to himself as Sun Tzu, I'm ready to see him go.

I guess Lakers might do a Odom + Ariza sign and trade for Amare. These two would become All-NBA players playing with Nash, just like Amare did before them!

I guess that was an attempt from Amare's camp to avoid the impression that a max deal is all what concerns them. They might be saying, if traded to a contender, he wouldn't demand an extension already this offseason, but if it's a club like GS, he'd walk without a max extension already now.

Dream on, that would NEVER happen. Odom and Ariza are the only SF's that the Lakers have outside of Luke Walton. This trade would weaken the Lakers significantly at the 3 will creating a log jam in the front court with Amare, Pau and Bynum. Odom and Ariza are both vital to the Lakers and they won't trade either of them. There is no trade scenario with the Lakers and Suns that even comes close to working. The only way the Lakers would look at Amare is if they could pick him up cheap as a UDFA and we all know that isn't happening anytime soon. There is absolutely nothing to this rumor.

Amare doesn't have the ability to take less, he's under contract for another year. Any team that trades for him has to take that contract at what? $17Mil? The last thing the Lakers need is $17 million tied up in a soft, injury prone forward with an attitude problem. No thanks.

Thank goodness.

Odom never reached his potential and Ariza is overrated. That would be a horrible trade for the Suns.

When Amare says less, I think he is referring to any contract extension that any team that trades for him will ask for.

If this is his second twit about the Lakers, he must be in dire need of attention. I don't see any way he goes to LA. This is getting pretty pathetic if you ask me. And I like A'mare.

Bynum + Ariza for Stoudemire... although contracts dont match.... maybe Lakers can give Suns 10 Million dollars cash along with it and about 3-4 Lakers to fill salary, then Suns use the 10 Million dollars to buy them out. :-o
