I heard on the way home from the game that Amare is going to throw out the first pitch tomorrow (Friday). Be nice to have a 6'10" guy throwing in BOB again. LOL.
He's actually something of a baseball fan, reportedly, and was at a few games each of the past two seasons, sitting behind home plate or near the dugout, and at least once this year shortly before the playoffs.
Hmmm -- yeah, I'm a hopeless conspiracy theorist, but I'd heard Justin Upton was going to be flying in with family very soon, maybe even this weekend, to meet everyone, see BOB, and start the initial negotiations. A chance to meet Amare, another HS-to-the-Pros super athlete, would be very cool.
