I'm surprised there isn't more conversation about this movie. My wife and I loved it and would recommend it to most action fans without reservation.

lol...my ol'lady poo paa'd this movie from the get go....then when it was over she was like,..."wow, that was pretty good"...lol....it was worth watching.

We had zero expectations. Which might explain why we loved it and you were disappointed. I'm not much of a fan of any of the actors except for Pullman (who was great) but I thought they all were perfect except for Britton. She lacked a little credibility in her role IMO but it didn't detract from the movie. And I really loved Topher Grace in this, it was the perfect role for him.

I liked this movie so much that I looked up the writer on IMDB and discovered that he (Max Landis) has also written another recent movie. The movie is called Mr. Right and it stars Anna Kendrick, Sam Rockwell and Tim Roth. We bought it digitally on Amazon and watched it tonight and we loved it almost as much as American Ultra. If you like Anna and/or Sam and enjoyed Ultra, I think you'll also like this one quite a bit.

Hope you like it Bert, Anna is great in it as are Rockwell and Roth. Like I said, it's not quite as good as American Ultra but we really enjoyed it and I think it will appeal to the same audience.

I was the opposite. Thought it started out great and I loved the premise, but then there became too many lame scenes and I began losing interest.
