McNeese State men's basketball student manager Amir Khan is one of this year's March Madness breakout stars, as his "aura" arguably helped the No. 12 Cowboysupset No. 5 Clemson on Thursday in Providence during the first round of the 2025 men's NCAA tournament.

Khan was elated after the victory, and an interview with a fellow March Madness icon was the cherry on top of an awesome day for the Cowboys student manager.

Beloved college basketball broadcaster John Fanta caught up with Khan after the game in the McNeese State locker room, and one of Khan's teammates held up a customized Khan t-shirt behind the student manager during part of the conversation.

"We got our first win in school history," Khan told Fanta as what went through his head as McNeese State scored the historic March Madness victory.
