McNeese student manager Amir Khan watched his No. 12 Cowboys take on No. 4 Purdue with one of the greatest filmmakers of all time.
Oscar-winning auteur Spike Lee, a St. John's fan, sat next to Khan during the first half of Saturday's Round of 32 game in Providence, which is such a cool meeting of two icons.
Amir Khan fired up McNeese with a fantastic boombox entrance before their Purdue game
Lee loves showing up to basketball games to support his favorite New York teams, and it's just serendipitous that he crossed paths with Khan, this year's March Madness breakout star.
If this means Lee will give Khan a cameo in one of his upcoming movies, the legend of McNeese's beloved manager really will live on.
