An updated look at the 2025 Big Ten Hockey Tournament bracket

Ohio State basketball may have been left out March Madness, but there are a few other teams within OSU athletics that are still playing in championship tournaments. The women's basketball team earned their way into NCAA Women's Tournament, the women's ice hockey team is in the Frozen Four again, and the men's ice hockey team is playing for a Big Ten title in the Men's Big Ten Hockey Tournament.

It's that last tournament that is probably the least likely of the others. The Buckeyes have surprised the league and country this year by vying for a conference title, and are almost a lock for the NCAA Tournament coming up on the heels of what happens this weekend.

But first things first, the Men's Big Ten Hockey Tournament got going with just seven teams, and OSU started things off as the No. 3 seed. OSU got by No. 6 seed Wisconsin in the first round, then won in overtime against Penn State to advance to the conference tournament championship game.

Now. Ohio State will be taking on No. 1 seed Michigan State to bring home the conference crown on Saturday.

We'll have reaction to what happens on the ice when the contest is over, and hopefully, it results in adding another trophy to the case.
