The Minnesota Vikings need to get some extra draft picks in the 2025 NFL Draft. After trading up twice in 2024, they are left with just four draft picks over the three days of the draft. Kwesi Adofo-Mensah knows they need the capital, and trading back in round one or out of it is the easiest way to get some of that back.

ESPN's Bill Barnwell has a trade idea that may do the trick for the team.

In his trade-heavy mock draft, the ESPN analyst pairs up the Giants and the Vikings for a first-round trade. He has the Giants moving back into round one while the Vikings trade out of it. The package consists of the following:

Vikings get:

  • 34th overall pick
  • 99th overall pick
  • 105th overall pick

Giants get:

  • 24th overall pick

The trade would give the Vikings a total of six picks in the 2025 NFL Draft, with four of them coming in the top 105 selections. That would be much better to the Vikings needs and would allow them to be aggressive once again in the draft while they get closer to solidifying a Super Bowl roster.
