Will Ferrell - really funny - but Steve Carril steals the show - one fo the funnier movies I've seen in a long time - no real weight to the film - but it wasn't intended to have any - and the brawl between rival news broadcasters is one of the highlights in comedy in the last five years.

This was an up and down movie for me...just saw it now. There are parts where you're peeing-your-pants laughing, but there are parts that are just plain stupid, and not stupid-funny. Good for a matinee laugh, that's for sure.
Loved all the expressions, 'Zeuss's beard!'

And what's with all the stuff in the trailer not making the movie? I know it happens, but half of the trailer was absent!

The movie was alright, funny but it was stupid too. But there were alot of awesome one liners which made it worth seeting. steve carril was great. Did anyone find it odd that most of the material shown in the previews was not in the actual movie?

I'd love to, but I'm out of town the weekend before or after (can't remember which), and early semester work will decimate me if I'm gone two weeks in a row...plus, I can't TRULY afford a game ticket, plus hotel, meals, and drinks. Now, this all doesn't mean I won't try and talk myself into it

just got back from this and i was highly dissapointed. it was mediocre to say the least. very few laughs overall. most of the 30 other people seemed to agree. didnt here to many people laughing a lot.

I thought it ws pretty funny. Not great, but better than mediocre.

The news team rumble was the best.

Thsi could be the most quatable movie since "Fletch." It really sticks with you...

Watched 10 minutes of it and turned it off. Worst 10 minutes I ever saw. Wife and I were close to vomiting.
