The NBA this year has been a lot like baseball. Every year at the deadline, there are obvious buyers and sellers, and all of the competitive teams are almost forced to make a move just to keep up with the Joneses. I do think the owners and players will negotiate a rule change on the buyout re-signing issue, which will help.
